It’s fine for a low carb diet, just no bread or potatoes on the side.

I think John Wayne ordered one of those in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, it was the biggest steak I ever saw.

We went to Texas, in-laws lived there, took a trip to Fort Worth for some ribs. “Oh my stomach, I think it was all you can eat, huge ribs, I think if you ate 5 it was free, I had 8” Tasty but having nightmares just thinking about it.

He needs to have an extra large outdoor grill for that. It won’t fit in the inside broiler.

Decades back a restaurant out west once advertised a butterknife special. 16oz steak aged and cooked so well they promised no charge if you couldn’t cut it with a butter knife. There only a few reports where the buyer failed. But, then a dinner in a really good restaurant cost $8-10, a lot given the economy, so it was worth a try. Either way the diner won.
