When I was about eight or nine years old, I had a book of brain teasers for children that included one called The Puzzled Bookkeeper. It went something like this:
“A bookkeeper noticed that the word balloon has two double letters in a row. He wondered if there was a word that has three double letters in a row.”
“There is such a word, and it is somewhere on this page. What is it?”
