@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp being in a foul mood because his horses lost again is priceless :o) my avatar again is a picture of our fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean grinning because he is in a good mood like I am, how was your day? our MANIC MONDAY should be a little busy but we should cope I hope , we are both in a good mood , no shopping or errands to run , just stay in the house keep hydrated till this evening when the greengrocer comes up our street, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
Except in those small quaint little villages “Town Centre” is a bit vague — I recall my first visit to the “Big City” naively asking for similar directions and needing to be more specific since I was already in the middle of “Government Center”.
That greengrocer van will be popular in the summer. I would buy a lot of fruit and make ice cold fruit smoothies.
Not long now before the telecoms guy comes to fix our internet. Our landline is still out too. Out of curiosity, I called our landline and a recorded message said that the number was out of service due to a fault, the customer is aware and it will be fixed as soon as possible. Also, that I will not be charged for this call. Well I wouldn’t anyway, I have unlimited minutes.
Unfortunately we still have a landline with the actual wire coming out of it which is a pain in the derriere to pass over to somebody because you have to stretch and be careful not to trip over the wire. Also when you are on hold you have to sit there in the same place with the phone held up to your ear and you can’t put it down in case you miss the person on the other end resuming the call and wondering if you are still there because there is no speaker. What’s even worse is there is no screen so we never know who is calling the landline.
Yep… It’s that old.
Anyway, I’m looking to go out tomorrow as I haven’t been out since Friday. Stay safe, stay well, stay warm and stay happy, pal.

Ever wonder if Andy’s pigeons would have more luck picking the horses than he does?

Purple suits always seem to be on the left side of this strip.

It’s time for GYP-PARODY! ANSWER: Safest way to stop a runaway horse—-QUESTION: What is, have Andy place a bet on it?!?

At its last workout, Andy’s horse was timed with a calendar instead of a stopwatch!

I am a sore loser myself. But that’s the chance you take when you gamble I guess. Speaking of which, I can’t decide when to go to bingo again.

Hey, Affie.

Boy, Andy sure is a sore loser. To be fair, though, who wouldn’t be in a situation like that?

I thought that Andy was quoting Green Day.
