“The Flying McCoys” usually isn’t that blatantly political.
But weatherman is a fitting profession for politicians. They give predictions on what will happen in utter conviction and afterwards can explain perfectly why it happened the way it actually did.
One nice thing about avoiding the news (amazingly I am surviving quite well so far), is that I can enjoy this cartoon on its own merits. I have no idea what Ted Cruz did nor do I want to know.
