My cat sits on the top back of the recliner all the time with me in it. Is that odd?

Cats figure humans will just have to adjust to them.

Does anyone here follow Family Circus? Anyone know what has been going on with them, lately? It didn’t post anything for Feb 8 & 9, then they did for 10-14. The last one is Feb 14. I sent them an email, asking what was going on, but have not received a reply yet. It’s been several days.

i have learned when the ‘queen’ of the house is in my chair…I slooooowly start to lower myself into the chair and just as slowly she plays a game of chicken to see who is the real owner of the chair…..( fortunately the couch is almost as comfortable for me….) she wins…

Everything belongs to the cat…

When I sit in my chair, two of my cats negotiate where each will sit, without touching. I refer to them as Germany and Russia, and I’m Poland, getting partitioned.

Time to check the “land on their feet” theory.

Time for the water spray bottle. When I bought my wife her new recliner, the cat jumped straight into the seat, but quickly adjusted when she saw my wife’s fanny coming inbound. Now she prefers the warm lap of whoever the sitter may be.

Room for 2…lap kitty.
