Early space launch?

He keeps knocking chunks off of the moon and making it smaller. I then have to throw rocks at it and fill it in again.

This reminds me of “The Magic Goes Away” by Larry Niven.

I’m glad that piece of space junk finally crashed on the Moon. It was hilarious watching all the speculation about whether is from a SpaceX launch. One of the fundamental principles of orbital mechanics is that your orbit doesn’t get any higher after you turn off the engine. SpaceX had not made any launches into lunar orbit – China has done so.

Wouldn’t “Chucking Rocks at the Moon” be a great name to an ‘alternative rock’ band?
