This is an important plot point in the marvelous “Fables” graphic novels, a long series by (mainly) Bill Willingham and Mark Buckingham. If you’re interested in well-done fantasy, with great characterization and intricate plots, find Fables in your local library, or on Hoopla. I’m currently on my fourth trip through the series (there are over two dozen collected volumes)…and I’m usually not that fond of fantasy! BTW, the three ex-Charming women discuss the prince in detail in volume 5 (“The Mean Seasons”) at their annual get-together. He doesn’t come off well…
On the TV comedy show “The Charmings” (possibly the worst TV show ever, I might add), Prince Charming and Snow White were married and it was the modern day (1980’s). It had been established that, being a Princely sort, Prince Charming could not tell a lie, so when Snow White asked him if he had ever dated “Cindy”, his answer was “Welllllll…..”. I don’t think Princess Aurora was ever mentioned.

Even more, they had a long wait and were disappointed because one day their prince would come and that was it.

And that is when they all realized that the notion of a Prince Charming was indeed, just a fairy tale.

Prince Charming was with Cinderella only, Snow Whites prince was Ferdinand Florian and Aurora, Sleeping Beauty’s prince was Prince Philip. :)

Could one of the Princes actually have been Prince Charming’s brother, Prince Wonderful Personality?
