I’d like to see Jason Chatfield try something like that: “what is the collective noun of boys” or “… of girls.”

My brother is classified as a blow of the nose.

The comments are great, except for the sexual stereotyping. I still like a murder of crows the best. I am curious about the history of that but won’t look it up. I would probably be disillusioned or disappointed.

How about “gathering of bit***” to describe some women’s groups?

this is kinda off topic, but I’ve never understood why there isn’t a collective for the parts of a fraction. …but then I could never think of a good one either. (bothators never caught on)

All these names were literally concocted by a bunch of stuffy French-descended English dudes, so what this comic depicts is the accurate history of how we got all those weird group names.
