Well, some people guessed it yesterday: Coffyhead is back! His head doesn’t look so much like an old-fashioned coffee pot as it used to long ago, but not many people use those anymore. I’m just hoping that he has some interesting scheme going.

If the Bean Howz isn’t making espresso to order, then yeah, that’s wrong.

I feared that predictions of his return would be true. Oh well, I can enjoy the Comments while keeping an eye out for unique twists that hope to make the overall story fun.

“They call me Coffyhead, see! I’m taking over the coffee rackets in this here city! Mr. Coffee, Killer Keurig, Kuppa Joe, they were all small-time punks. I’m gonna be the new King of Coffee, around here, GOT IT!”

Just read up on this criminal….is he still on the straight and narrow or has he again eaten the bitter fruit from the weed of crime?

Coffyhead should be easy to defeat; just slip him some decaf.

So what if Coffy boy is not our bad guy but visiting and happens to help solve a crime ……… or he is b(l)ack in the rackets ?

Why is it that a lot of tough guys wear such small bow ties?

Um, an espresso is a very small shot. You don’t serve a single espresso in a mug like that. You could put in a shot of espresso in a cup and fill cup up with boiling water and you have a caffe Americano. Or you could put four shots in a mug that size… Dangerous.

Don’t remember the name of the song, but I remember the lyrics: “One shot, I’m waking up. Two shots, out of bed. Three shots I’m wide awake. Four shots, I’m dead.”

Is he suppose to be African-American? Or just bad colouring with the line structures of his face?

And here I was hoping it would be Fearless Fosdick….

if he had his own shop and lost it- it implies it wassn’t very good.

Wow, haven’t heard about Coffeehead in forever. He had made up with Tracy at one point kind of like the Mole did. Be interesting to see if he’s still on the right side of law.

Expresso, and, etc., can go stale? I knew that coffee sitting around too long can turn into sludge, but stale?

BARISTA MAN: Fine but first I gotta go outside and see if anyone “recycled” a To-Go cup – in the trashcan.

MR COFFEE: Environmentally conscience – I like that! HEY. WAIT A SECOND…

BARISTA: No worries. I’ll clean it – with this rag. MR. COFFEE: Well OK then… HEY!

For Coffeyhead’s second APPEARANCE,GO BACK TO THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY STORY—-Tracy was traveling around the country looking for the villain—-it turned out to be ANgeltop;who they thought was dead.

Not quite the “coffeepot head” look from the old days.Maybe it’ll look stronger in profile.

The designer coffee market is stronger than ever,so if thisguy WANTS an honest job he won’t have any trouble finding one.

Junior will have a tough time forgetting this guy.He tried to poison gas Junior in the old days.And if you blink,you’ll miss out on Starbucks Thanksgiving Blend.

Mr coffyhead needs to be reminded he’s washed up if he USED to have his own shop.

I’m out of the loop here: I’ve never heard of Coffyhead. Doesn’t seem to be a perky fellow.

Well,Tonsils 2 won’t need any coffee.he already acts like he’s over-caffineated.

I got a correction out of Max Collins on the original Coffeyhead story.Harvey comics left out the last 2 weeks of that story,which detailed a jailbreak in which hisbuddy Lugi got killed.Collins listed him in t he “Sunday Box” as still alive and I wrote to him otherwise.A few weeks later the addendum appeared.

Can you say retread kids. Only the head is different.

Egads! It is Coffyhead! (And his suit has turned to a lighter shade of blue from yesterday’s virtual black.)Not sure if his “attitude” with the counterman is an indicator, but so far he is our Best Bet for becoming the villain of this piece, even if he had gone straight before….

And if you were so good that you had your store, why don’t you have it anymore? Was it perhaps because of your bad attitude that you lost it?
