Spot on! And remember Putin had to over turn an election to seize power then tear up their constitution to make himself president for life….beware 2024.
I believe that middle one refers to what are called “memory laws.” Think I’ve read that these are in place in some other eastern European countries besides Russia. Anyway, valiant effort here by Mr. Bolling, but… Right after the 2016 election, I got into a polite discussion with an elderly gentleman at a grocery store. First thing out of his mouth: He couldn’t believe Democrats put up a candidate with “so little integrity.” He then brought up Benghazi, stating that staff at the embassy there had tried to contact Obama and Clinton “over 600 times.” I then mentioned Beirut and the terrorist attack on the Marine barracks there(This person had no memory of this incident.), which killed over 250 Marines, and which occurred under Reagan’s watch. Then in an attempt to show that “Benghazi was political,” I placed the multiple investigations Clinton had endured next to the ONE that occurred as per the Beirut attack, qualifying it all by saying that my point was not that Reagan was solely to blame. He replied thusly at this moment in our conversation: “Well, of course, it couldn’t have been Reagan’s fault.” A huge chunk of those on the Right just don’t live in the real world, even though they’d be classified as sane if their mental competency was evaluated. Right, as with Covid vaccines, I’ve had several friends on that side tell me these have killed thousands of people, but whenever I’ve asked for information to support this claim none of the them have ever been able to show me anything. Guess the psychologists would say humans often create their own facts to find emotional security. No school system in America has ever taught or was planning to teach Critical Race Theory, but just about all conservatives(citizens) believe the opposite. Think the country can survive the wannabe dictators like Trump, but not the ignorance that moves many to embrace them.

The Republican Party of Trump has plenty of trainees hoping to become as strong, forceful, and maniacally murderous as Putin.

I am very sad to admit this, but I really am glad I moved out of Florida and left the United States 10 years ago.

One of the greatest mistakes society ever made was believing that fascism runs on vicious, snarling hatred.
Because it runs on indifference.
