I love how Puck holds that old-time wooden pointer in the last (triangular) panel. He reminds me of Mr. Nicholson, my high school math teacher, who was such a nice guy that we all liked him even though all but two of us had no idea what he was talking about.

Remember if you put the new book from some place that lets you rate/review it or if you are on Goodreads or another site like that to rate/review the book.

Simple and easy. Puck handles snacks as the resident foodie, Sophie will be the decorator (if she can take time away from designing wrestling costumes), and Burt does music. Then he will slip in the Our IX Lives theme, leading Elvis to maximum poofage.

OT: This is the first time I have done an off-topic post, so I don’t know if people will care, but I just welcomed two new pets! Now that I am settled into my new apartment, I really wanted some animals to take care of. Yesterday I brought home two guinea pigs, Colby Jack (because of his orange and white fur) and Freddie (after Freddie Mercury, because he’s the louder one and it looks like he has sideburns). They are still getting used to me, but they are exploring and loving their new environment. Anyway, since this is such a pet-friendly page, I thought I’d share.

I have a question for the Orb. Thinking of adopting a male 6 or 7 month kitten that’s a male. Our Zippy is going to be 3 in July and is female.

My question is this: Is it better to have 2 of the same sex, or 1 of each?

Etsy used to be a wonderful site for artists and creators. From 2011 to 2017, I was happy to use Etsy for selling my paintings, prints, and illustrations. Over the last few years however, it has moved further and further away from creators to embrace bigger and bigger business. It’s very frustrating.Raising fees from 3% to 5%, and now from 5% to 6.5%. Allowing third party mass produced items, harming the site’s credibility as a place to find thoughtful handmade goods. Pushing free shipping expectations, hurting small businesses. Even as a nationally syndicated cartoonist, I can’t (and don’t) offer free shipping, because I could not afford to front $5-6 per shipping for hundreds of orders. Very few folks could.There was a personal touch to selling our art on Etsy that has been stripped with each new “big business, less human touch” decision. My last sale Etsy’s automated system flagged several orders from BCN readers as fraud and automatically canceled the sales without contacting me. It triggered canned emails to those readers that I had canceled them. I was mortified.
