We had some wicked wind yesterday. Wind gusts up to almost 50mph. How does the wind always know when it’s trash day? It always seems to blow hardest on those days.

I went to Ace Hardware yesterday to buy some seed potatoes to plant in my garden. On the way home, I saw a pheasant. I don’t see them very often, so it was pretty cool seeing this one.

But the “revenue” is all IOUs !

Oh no, paid parking there too!

How do they pay?? Sigh, more wind coming tomorrow up to 50 mph. I wish my cherry trees hadn’t been unwrapped, but my neighbors were insistent that I not go up my 12 foot ladder after surgery and they are leaving town tomorrows.

You’d think they’d make a ton of money off that, wouldn’t you? Maybe they should charge by the hour. (Then again, maybe not.) On another note, saw four bumblebees, five juncos, and a robin while out walking today.

Bumblebees ~ a good sign of spring. We have lavendar plants in our yard and they really like those. Haven’t seen any yet this year. Of course, we are still expecting more snow tomorrow. Going to be a very cold Easter. We are breaking records with the cold.
