I love spring, but I always had the usual allergies, and while I was a teacher, fall depression. I still have the allergies, but now fall depression involves over a dozen 60 foot oaks that are generous with their cast off leaves each week until Christmas. I’ll take it.
My allergies are currently out of control: head and chest congestion, coughing, sneezing, itchy watery eyes, aches and pains, sore throat. Prayers are appreciated. Have a blessed day my friends.
So how does it work for those of who hate summer AND have allergies? It’s like we get double-punished, triple if you count all the people around us celebrating and how we could possibly hold our “wrong” position!
Bonkers — that covers it. Clever dialogue and presentation, but with philosophy, less is more, and often “none” will work. I might enjoy just the scene, without all the speech bubbles.
For me, I have allergies three out of the four seasons, with some kind of self-diagnosed SAD from November to February, with a brief improvement around New Years. Have not mastered it yet, but my working theory is to enjoy it in spite of the physical limitations.

Doesn’t really work that way, Frazz. Allergies can keep people indoors. While I appreciate Nature without any of the suffering.

By Frazz’s logic, he shouldn’t be allowed outside during Spring.

I have discovered another use for my masks. Anytime I go outdoors I wear one and for once I can enjoy walking around trees.

I think it’s pretty clear that Frazz is being facetious here. Which nobody seems to have picked up on.
