With almost a decade at 110 baud, nothing about it is humorous anymore.

I’m amazed that he actually knows that.

I looked up a baud calculator to see what broadband speeds equal out to. 50Mbps (the lowest speed Comcast/Xfinity offers) equals 12,500,000 baud.

I’ve worked on telex equipment that operated at 50 baud. Not recently, mind you.

Sadly (or maybe not), we can no longer say: “She has a killer Baud… Rate.”

It’s just baud, not baud rate (which is redundant). Nothing to do with cables, nothing to do with current. Baud is mentioned often but without actually using that word.

My question is, what the hell are they talking about?
