The Coyote’s response was exactly as i expected – “Have you ever see…?” “No.”
Typical answer of the offended crowd… offended by things they’ve never seen, read or heard. “That’s movie’s evil (or racist)! and no, i haven’t seen it, i just know it must be”.
Reminds me of a TV channel that banned Speedy Gonzales cartoons during the first PC wave. Lots of Hispanics were upset about the cancellation. “A little Mexican guy who ALWAYS wins? Why should we be insulted?”
I hated the road runner. Just like I hated Tweety. I found them both very cruel, though the road runner at least had a reason. Most of the time Tweety tortured the poor cat just because.
The one where the cable snaps under the weight of his wheeled helmet. And I had a friend who named Wile E. Coyote as his hero. Since, in his words, “He never gives up.”
A few years ago I was driving on a dirt road in the desert. A roadrunner started to cross the road, saw me, changed course—-and wiped out. Too bad I couldn’t film it.

Replace that coyote with moral guardians and that gag is even funnier.

One can appreciate good humor. Wile E has a new fan.

That Wile E. Coyote/Batman sequence could have added in the 1966 Batman TV show theme.

It just goes to show you that you can’t judge a book by its cover.

I hope this sticks around for a while, I really like him. He’s got character (just needs a name)

Plus, no roadrunner goes “Beep Beep” (except for my old ‘69 Plymouth Road Runner before it met it’s demise).
