I read an entire story full of spoonerisms in high school, and one of them had that phrase, one swell foop in it-I don’t remember the author but I loved that story!

Why is he not using a SPORK - the eating utensil of the 23rd Century?

Poo’ed the Screwch? These comments are funnier than Tim could ever make theh strip and I think it’s a toot hoo!

Spoons. Because when’s all said and done, they don’t aim themselves.

“One swell foop” is, I believe, actually an original documented Spoonerism from the original Rev. Dr. Spooner.
