@Number Three Today strip IS funny our Hero Mr Andrew Capp’s dislike for his mother in law is legend , :o) my avatar again is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s in a good mood like I am , how was your day? ours should be a little busy but we should cope I hope we both are in a good mood , no shopping to do or errands to run , just stay inside the house and keep hydrated till this evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.

People have compared Andy’s mother-in-law with classic sitcom mothers-in-law such as those in “I Love Lucy” and “The Honeymooners”.

One very likeable mother-in-law was Jed Clampett’s mother-in-law in “The Beverley Hillbillies”. She was grandmother to his daughter Ellie Mae so she was known as Granny. She came from the Moses family of Tennessee so she was Granny Moses.

That was a special miracle day!

Hey, Affie.

I have almost recovered from my cold, I would say at least 5% of it is still there.

Me and my friend have arranged to meet on Tuesday next week, I’m travelling up to his town like I was going to last time. I said in a humourous way that he better not cancel on me again. He said he wouldn’t and the reason he did was because he had no idea he had 9 units to complete for his course (Teaching Assistant) due 13th June.

I’m looking forward to my takeaway tonight which my Dad is buying for me. I absolutely love Halal chicken. Well… Any chicken that is fried.
