I can so sympathize. The best Sunday afternoon nap comes in front of a TV watching golf, except where I can find a cricket game to snooze to.

Having played (if what I did could be called playing) golf, there were times I would have preferred to take a nap in a hammock.

The most interesting thing to me about watching tv golf matches is when they track the path of the ball with that red line. Even better would be if they could track the way the golfer thought it was going to go and compare the two.

Also wonder, if, when the ball just barely rims the cup, the beam of the close up camera kinda nudges it that way. :} )

So is this the reason why golfers yell “SNORE!” to warn spectators when they hit an errant shot? Seems to me “LOOK OUT!” would be more appropriate to avoid beaning an innocent spectator.

Duzz anyone remember the old club names: mashie, niblick, driver, brassie, spoon?

MAD magazine once had a shpiel about golf: giving up the game. "Clubs can be sold, or used as fireplace andirons.’
