This is the time to find sweaters half off. Approaching the warm summer the stores would want to dump their sweater stock to make room for high priced bathing suit displays.

She could have saved $100 by staying home.

Now might be a good time for Thorny to have a card cutting party.

“Good news – that one hundred dollars sweater I went to buy was fifty percent off!”

“No kidding! So you got your sweater without having to spend the entire one hundred dollars?”

“Well, not exactly. The sweater was originally two hundred dollars!”

groan, well at least when one gets dirty, you can use thee other one while that one gets washed at least.

Oh well, Brutus never takes things for granted?

I don’t know if buying one at full price and getting a second sweater for free would be a better justification.

Be Happy Brutus, that she didn’t buy 2 extra sweaters to save you 200 bucks. Women think that way.

The woman knows how to shop. Doesn’t know how to save money, but definitely knows how to shop….

My favorite is when a sign says, “You can save $20.00 if you buy today”. I automatically think, “I can save $100.00 if I don’t buy at all”.

So she saved twice as much! Very thrifty Gladys.

Gladys maybe should have spent some time between momma and being married taking care of herself and budgeting her own income and all. She’s very childlike in some ways. Of course, if she had, we would miss some good laughs.
