One occasion I was playing golf and had lost all my golf balls by the 7th hole. My caddy couldn’t find a single one. I told him “You must be the worst caddy in the world.” He replied “No, sir, that would be too much of a coincidence.”
I both played and caddied. One learns well to watch the ball.
A frustrating part is when you carry the bag out to the “normal” landing area, and your player hits a poor shot so that you have to walk back some. Good layers are more fun to caddy for; you sort of know what’s going to happen.
