    As a pre-teen, I used the term “snot rag” before ever hearing anyone else say it. I guess it’s one of those things that every generation re-invents, like kids pedaling a tricycle wheel with their hands, imitating an organ grinder.

    I think the middle English conjugation would be “decreest.” (I decree, Thou decreest, He/She decreeth, We decree, Ye decree, They decree)
