I’m having trouble envisioning Earl with a chainsaw.

If he broke a finger, he will have to learn how to drink soda with the other hand.

If Earl had shown his hand with a finger (or two) bent back to make it look like he had lost a finger (or two), he could have gotten another “eek!!” or a gasp out of Opal before she got mad.

If it was REALLY bad…… he wouldn’t be saying “OW OW OW” (trust me)

My dad, stupidly, took off the safety, and did not realize when it kicked one time, that it caught/cut him below his knee cap. When he felt liquid in his shoe and saw his jeans were cut, the light bulb went off and he ended up with 30+ stitches. The doc said he missed slicing off his lower limb by a 1/4 inch.

No blood, no worry!

My hubs used to fall trees for a living. He has cut his neck, barely missing the jugular vein, and had a nasty one on his forearm, where the saw kicked back on him. It’s a dangerous job, but he was good at it.

I have an electric chain saw that is powerful and never fails to start. I used to have a Poulan that was miserable and I spend $$$ on repairs and tuneups. Right before I bought the electric, I found that I could throw a Poulan only 9 feet.

Some things should require a “road test” before you can buy.

I understand the Judge was very understanding when Pearl’s trial came up.

I had a friend who stuck her hand in a power mower. The prosthetic fingers never did look quite real…
