We have a sunflower growing between two patio stones… it’s almost 8’ tall, and growing.

I have more grass growing between the cracks in my driveway than I do on my lawn.

Should be dandelions, but maybe daisies are easier to draw.

Found a volunteer impatiens growing in the crack between brick step and concrete walk. Lasted quite a time, which surprised me, as they don’t seem to thrive in direct sun. Bright-eye perriwinkle, on the other hand, seems to grow larger by the hour in direct sun. Seems last winter was a good one for plants overall and we appreciate that every day.

There is one section of highway I regularly drive on where the lanes have a small (1/16)gap between the lanes: grass is growing there; only 1/8" or so high, but it is trying.

Should be safe for awhile; or at least until someone who doesn’t care about their mother’s back comes along …
