Not to mention Heart isn’t a fan of school.

Why should the 5th graders get their coin back? Did they lose coin? If so then yeah, help them break even but if they sold their muffins as it seemed like they did, why is Char getting so upset, unless the kiddos sold them for a loss? Are there 5th graders stuck with dozens of stale muffins? It sure did not look like it in the arc! It looked like Dana was the one who upped the stakes as she must have realized Heart outsmarted her with that last ad she floated: “Tired of Muffins? Try a Brownie”. Anyhow, bad idea by the teacher by turning this into a rivalry!

Although I don’t recommend them. This pyramid scheme actually worked! Everybody sold what they needed to sell so why are we returning money?

Doing the right thing DOES suck sometimes. That’s the lesson of this arc. Well, that and brownies without nuts are better than muffins without nuts. But that begs the question: what could’ve beat brownies without nuts? (Not brownies with nuts)

Heart showing future CEO skills in that last panel. A fine for illegal activity is just the cost of doing business, as long as it doesn’t eat into profits.
