If the Celtics, the Bruins, the Red Sox and the Patriots all won their championship, would that be a grand slam, heaven on earth, or pure bliss. And I am a Candian, ha ha, stuck with the Toronto Make Beliefs. and the Ottawa senators, that play like a bunch of stodgy old senators.
Yep. The Count went to the Bengals first pre season game last night. The walk to and from the parking garage where The Countmobile awaited reminded him that he should have had a personal training camp.
If you ever wonder how people can follow trump and his gang, consider this; in Boston we have Red Sox Nation, Patriot Nation et al. These masters of Bullshyt have convinced the great unwashed masses, that these are their teams, not that the teams are the toys of some fat, rich white guys. With the right wording, imagery and a sprinkle of codswallop, it’s possible to convince the teeming masses to believe anything. Sad.
This has been my official old man grumble for today. Apologies, if you’re a sports nut.

The face looks more like a baseball an a bat for a scythe than football. Death is not sport specific it seems, who knew.

I am less pleased that the Dodgers got into Championship form the Yankee way: Throwing money at the problem until a ring falls out.

Funny thing the Grim Reaper reaps the souls of the dead. However, being a psychopomp doesn’t kill. Just takes souls to the Land of the Dead.

Love the baseball bat “scythe” (which is, at least, no more unrealistic than the usual cartoonists’ rendition of that tool).

Apparently the coach of Liverpool (UK) once remarked “Football isn’t a matter of life and death – it’s more important than that!”
