“Aloud”, as I learned it, refers to verbalization, or audible communication. It doesn’t matter the volume. So if the cats purr, or meow, at all, they violate the rule.
I recently saw someone post something about wanting to “soothe” someone, except they forgot the last “e” so it went from trying to make them calm to trying to tell them the truth.

Sad thing is I wouldn’t be surprised to see signs misspelled like that these days.

He’s right. The sign says what it says. You have to accept the cats.

Apparently people who take things as they are literally written are not allowed in this building. At least that’s the way it looks and sounds.

When donuts were spelled ‘doughnuts’, girls at grade 6 bake sale had a sign up ’ dognuts for sale’.

Yep. My cats annoy NO neighbors. My neighbor and his yipping dog can’t say the same thing, unfortunately.

Of course the paper on wall is really meaningless. It’s what is in the lease that counts.

Don’t worry, they’re feline versions of an Alaskan Malamute.
