Reminds me of my first day in engineering college. The prof said to look around at ur neighbors and ‘they will be gone by the end of this semester.’

By that simplistic logic, you would need BOTH of them to be morons to ensure that you yourself are not one.

Given that probability, there’s a one in four chance that neither person would be a moron (as well as a 1 in 4 chance that both the person to your left and the person to your right are morons).

This is not wrong.

After months of research, I have concluded that 50% of people… are below average.

Ha Ha, Dr Rat reminded me of the book of the same name by William Kotzwinkle.

I have recently been watching The Goldbergs for the first time. “Moron” is probably the most used word in the series.
