I noticed that Costco already has Christmas items on display. Crazy.

It seems Christmas decorations go up earlier and earlier each year. Soon it will be year round.

When I was a young man ( back in the Dark Ages ) there used to be a bar, Cyril & Sals, in Provincetown, up on the Cape that was famous for their Christmas In August parties. Not quite the type of Christmas party for Gracie, however.

We have to have “christmas in July” because that’s the month sales are at their lowest point without manufacturing reasons to bring people into the stores.

The problem is, christmas got a taste of non-December-ness and has been inching its way towards July ever since the “christmas in July” tradition was started….

Yes. Some decorations are already up Ho Ho Ho….

One station here begins playing Christmas music on T-Day non-stop. Crazy Utubers are doing Holiday stuff already.
