    The North Star is the only star I can see in the Little Dipper due to light pollution.

    There is a big difference. He won’t be able to remember his new constellations from one time to the next. That is the important part that has been handed down for centuries.

    Took Astronomy in college. Had to point out (I forget how many) constellations for a final test. Easier to see them in a planetarium. The only one I had trouble with was Draco.
