Charon doesn’t cater to Karens

Is he angling for three-headed dogfish?

They’ve all been caught before, but the Lethe feeds into the Styx, so they don’t remember.

Is he after fish styx?

I’ve got too much time on my hands so come sail away Mr. Roboto in that boat on the river for the best of times fishing.

Old fishermen never die… they just smell that way.

I don’t think you want what’s swimming in that river.

There is a real irony, hypocrisy even, in people who consider themselves “woke” (or who are labelled as such by others) using terms like “Karen.” Part of being woke, I would think, is resisting the tendency to pre-judge people based on factors like their race, age, gender etc. Yet what is using a term like “Karen,” if not the ultimate in pre-judging?

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he sits in a boat and drinks beer all day.
