While I miss having a dog I don’t envy those that have to take thier dogs out on cold rainy mornings & pick up after them. Cleaning a litter box in an environmentally controlled space is less of an inconvenience when you have to be at work at 6 am
I shattered my wrist so now my husband does it. The only other times in 45+ years that someone else did it was when I was pregnant. Our spoiled cat now only gets it cleaned once a day.
When me and ex husband were still together we had 2 cats and I use to clean the litter box but the smell bothered my asthma so he would do it. My Dad has a cat that he took in a couple of winters ago that was a stray and the cat still likes to go outside for walks and playing int he grass and dirt so Dad takes him out on a leash a couple of times a day and Dad said the cat has been doing his business, both of them, when they are outside so he doesn’t have to clean the litter box as often. Win-win I guess.

It will be YOUR job to clean the litter box since you’re the one who wants the kitten.

My wife and I take turns each week scooping, but I am ‘in charge’ of actually cleaning and tossing the old litter. But then, I wanted the cats!

Cats are easy. Scoop the litter box and open a can of food. That’s the whole thing. Dogs are work.

Zoe’s selfishness strikes again and she justifies it by imagining the joy everyone else will get out of it. Like the pony and puppy.

I hated it too, I ended up getting a litter robot. Then I only had to empty things out about once a week.

Cat sat once. One tiny cat…one epic cat poo. I thought a local lion had wandered in.

“They know me so well!! Cat box cleaning!! Oh joy!!”
Hmmm, I don’t think he would actually say that…..

It’s a great idea! A cat would be a great addition to the strip.

Zoe, you want the cuddles, softness and love, you clean the poop, pee, and hairballs up. It’s how responsibility works.
