That was pretty funny.Calypso update: I talked to Robyn yesterday to find out if she’d talked to the couple who adopted her. She said yes, that they love her! Their other cat was a little sketchy at first but not for long and now they’re friends. They said she’s so gentle and sweet, which I knew. So, yay! A good adoption for Calypso.
My daughter and i took the abandoned cat (that my tenant left behind when she left Aug 17th) to the vet today. Sarah has been feeding and grooming him (long hair, black cat, sweet and friendly) He has severe gingivitis. Dr Lisa gave him a powerful shot of antibiotics, updated shots and will clean his teeth and assess his mouth/teeth Thursday morning. He is such a sweet and friendly cat. Tests looked good, so just the mouth is a mess. Been living behind the house for 7-8 years with no care. We have plans for when his mouth is healed. His name is Pancho. So please send some healing thoughts and love into the universe for him.
Good thing Chesney isn’t around. He would have really given Annie a hard time about it. Incidentally, my Mom hates the term catsup and prefers that it be called ketchup. ( I say, to each their own.) On another note, saw three chickadees, three dragonflies, a robin, and three rabbits while out walking today.

Wo have excessive heat for the next 10 days or so. After having a relatively mild summer, I’m ready for a sweater…but nope.

She should have just said she was eating a candy bar. Don’t want poor little Ollie thinking she’s eating a kitty cat.

Poor Ollie. Those would have been good if they were dark chocolate, only milk chocolate I’ve ever liked are Milk Duds.

Does anybody call it Catsup? I’ve been around (too) many years and traveled all over and it was ALWAYS Ketchup.

Love it! Kit Kats, indeed! Stand fast, Oliver! She doesn’t mean it!

This one made me laugh out loud. Poor Oliver. The English language can be so confusing.
