For all of the drama and trouble that LROS went thru with her reno, I saw the pics and I must say, everything is just beautiful.

Hoyle was a British guy who wrote the rule book for most card games. The day honors him and people who follow the rules of the game. Sorry your vacation is over, LK, but money is good.

Given the abundance of rodents in the vicinity of railroad tracks, the idea of Bluebell working there isn’t at all outlandish.

Since rats and mice don’t actually do significant damage to the tracks, though, there would probably be no salary, unlike the situation at the Royal Mail. For many years, cats were treated as employees there, with an allowance of a shilling a week, to keep mice and rats from gnawing at the letters of Her Majesty’s subjects.

The sleeper service, it’s the only way to travel… ;-)

Ouch! Chesney looks like railroadkill. (Yes, I know that’s not a real word.) He really should know better than to hassle someone who is holding sharp pointy things. On another note, saw two two dragonflies, a chickadee, two rabbits, six robins, and a raven while out walking today.
