It’s right after school starts because, back in the olden days, pictures had to be developed and printed chemically, then packaged and distributed manually. This took a big part of the school year to complete.
Actually a double connection… first, because it comes at the beginning (does it always???..like in the cartoon?)… and because it IS like incarceration!
