Well at least they got something. Even if it’s a bag o’ bones.

I wonder where the dog got money to buy a lottery ticket? Oh yeah, I forgot. This is a comic strip. Anything is possible in comic strips.

Yesterday morning, my kittens discovered that this house has an upstairs. They came up and explored a little, then went back downstairs again. They were a little nervous upstairs, like they thought they wouldn’t be allowed upstairs. So after a brief exploration of upstairs, they went back downstairs and stayed there. I’m looking forward to waking up some morning to find them sleeping on my bed with me.

I’d like to help them save the warehouse, but I won’t be buying any raffle tickets from those two.

And it’s off to the shrimp tails store for that pair.

I woke up to rain, and a lot of it, this morning! And, the temp is only 69. I’m loving this. On Sunday, I went to see the 10 kittens Dr Susan has. (the mama and babies Robyn had asked me about fostering)She had a person lined up to take her (before the babies were born) but on Saturday, 5 babies came. She was still going to take them until 5 more showed up. That’s a lot for a first time foster mom so I totally understand her hesitation.Anyway, Dr S ran over and got them all. She called me to ask if I had 10 colors of yarn to distinguish them.I didn’t have any since I don’t knit or crochet. Then she asked if I had nail polish. YES! That I have. At last count, about 120 bottles of it. A lot of it’s gel polish so that wouldn’t do because you need a heat lamp for them.I picked 13 colors of regular polish and took them over. We made a chart, weighed each baby and painted a few tiny toes.There are 5 black kittens and 5 solid grey ones. Five were .20 oz and 5 were .26 oz.

Chesney, Jack, you pair of….of….of….unmitigated, unprincipled scoundrels!!

I wonder would drop on a bird (payback for what they drop on us? I have never forgotten that episode of my new little red jacket in Central Park).

Ouch! More like Insta-splat! I’m surprised that’s Lily and Bluebell instead of Jack and Chesney. On another note, saw a wren, a robin, a dragonfly, and a rabbit while out walking today.
