Mallows bay is a great example of the early twentieth century use-and-discard mentality. Those ships were built for WWI and dumped there when the war was over. After WWII, things were different…getting better; although we had the Reserve Fleet that sat around for decades waiting to the recalled or scrapped, many of our WWII warships were broken up/recycled into razor blades, etc. Not perfect, but getting better.

“Early twentieth century shipwreck.” “With a touch of IKEA.”
Some re-assembly required.
