Go back to the days of being dragged around to various shopping areas and sitting with the other men outside of the changing rooms. The benefits, however, was being able to enjoy the view as each woman came out to get opinions. Then, after she was done posing, the men quietly complimented each other on their partner.
I try my best to avoid Amazon. But several times I’ve ordered direct from the manufacturer and it was filled by Amazon anyway, plus I paid for shipping I would have gotten for free with Prime.
Well, this is a tuff subject. We have lost so many of our privately owned small businesses. Great little shops gone now. We all have been seduced by Amazon, Etsy, ebay, and their online shopping ilk.Talk about your 2 edge sword. We will regret this one day I am sure.Hell, I guess I already do! We have no Malls left in our area. The latest iterations are merely food courts.
Needs some embroidery. Ukraine has a tradition of gorgeous embroidered shirts, both by hand and machine. Etsy has waived all fees for sellers in Ukraine during this war and the US has waived customs fees for there for this year. Some of the sellers will custom tailor and many charge heartbreakingly low prices for their work. You often have to wait over a month for the package to get past the postal service there with the men all off at war, but things do come through.
I have always suspected men don’t really notice much about clothes on a woman. They seem to try to imagine what is under them instead. I haven’t actually asked anyone if my suspicion is correct.
It takes my husband deciding I need to buy clothes and insisting I do to make me do so. He has a problem with my darning my socks when they get holes. I just had to buy new slippers – he did not like that I had taped the cracks in the bottoms of the old ones to keep them intact to wear.
He will always be looking for and buying clothes for him (though does not often find anything).
Before he quit his job I did all my shopping alone – clothing, our food shopping, etc. as it was much easier than having him along. Since he quit his job over 15 years ago it has developed to the only time we are not together in the same room is at night when I go my laptop in the kitchen (as now) and he is upstairs on his desktop computer – before the pandemic I went out to work one day a month and my embroidery chapter meeting one day a month – otherwise together almost 24 hours a day – now it is 24 hours a day.
We never order anything of any type unless there is NO alternative and we absolutely need the item as we rarely have deliveries without problems.

Purchased from ‘Tent City?’ Why is Janis trying to hide? Arlo loves her unconditionally.

Did Arlo give a thumbs up because he likes the new top or because Janis is happy and he’s supportive?

If the great shopping place closes I think the world comes to an end.

We will transition to the great Russian/Putin model: one style for everyone. Now put it on and like it. I will know if you complain. Potato.

I’ve cut my Amazon habit. Too easy to spend too much money on things I rarely like once I see it in person.

And they still have husband chairs! (Though I usually have to haul myself out of mine & upstairs for Her to model Her purchases).

Can I get that at the Arlo and Janis gift shop? I’d buy one for sure.

There are a significant number of customers on my route who order clothes through the mail and send them back return service if they don’t fit.

I could never buy clothes without trying them on.

I miss the excitement when the Sears Christmas catalog arrived. We used to fight over it.

Obviously civilization will have finally collapsed — as has been predicted for centuries.
