Here in western PA, I’ve seen days where it was in the 40s in the morning and by midafternoon it was in the mid 70s and then get an inch of snow overnight. (all temps in F)
The great Armistice Day storm of 1940, before there was good weather prediction, took many duck hunters by surprise. The temperature dropped from 55 above to 55 below in a single day across Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. At least 50 died and many more suffered severe frostbite.

“Live in the NOW!” isn’t all that useful for most folks most of the time.

Doing it on a daily basis would be bad. It would be summer while you’re at work or school and then raining after you get off.

I once experienced summer, fall, and winter three times in a month when I drove between New Hampshire and Florida three times.

There are four phases of the moon, and the cycle is roughly every month.

On a similar note, when someone complains about women’s monthly moods, i usually reply that it’s better than men’s 24 hour cycle.

If you don’t want to cycle through the seasons on a daily basis, you’ll have to move out of Michigan. (Worked for me!)

You could always move to New Jersey. They have two seasons: Winter, and road construction.

The kid’s comment reminds me of Mark Twain’s 1876 speech on the New England Weather.
