You, Miss Plainwell, could be mistaken for a investigative reporter.

Years ago, I bought a hollow-fill vest for my mother. I bought it at an actual hiking/backpaking store instead a more expensive one at a department store. The one I bought was better made, with better materials and noticeably warmer. It fit better too.

Granted, high-heeled shoes are dumb. You want a 2nd opinion? OK, they’re ugly, too!

Don’t even get me started on noose-ties.

Fleece vest with a crisp tailored French cuffed shirt and flash of color in the tie. On weekends a pair of creased jeans. Maybe with cuffs if you’re of a certain age. Does Sketchers make Wingtips?

To look like a Wall Street finance guy, you have to also be holding a woodcutting axe in a way that makes it clear you’ve never actually used a woodcutting axe.

Although, over the life of the strip, I have realized that Frazz is very savvy investment wise. He just doesn’t like to show it.
