I don’t get it…

It was what Ruthie was wearing, not where she was doing the recitation. ;-)

Ruthie hasn’t grown much in a year so she should sprout up in the next few months

Strange that she should remember her lower outfit more than the venue.

Knowing Ruthie, she probably malapropped the entire recitation…!

Say — if it’s a “story hour,” shouldn’t the Library Lady be reading an actual story, rather than a nursery rhyme?

I’m disappointed. I thought she was going to burst into song. “Route 66.” Or maybe “Sweet Lorraine” or “It’s Only a Paper Moon.”
