Lupin needs to try to get his buddy Sir Fig to see if he and Tabitha can get into the addition from upstairs so Beatrix won’t be alone. Pucky needs to try to contact Tillie and the RCO crew. Meanwhile, I’m sure Freddie will make sure Beatrix stays safe.
And for those who were saying that The Man should have locked the cats in a room, The Man needed The Woman’s help to get them all in.
By himself, here’s how it goes:
Man grabs Lupin, tosses him into room, closes door.
Man grabs Goldie, opens door, tosses Goldie in. Lupin dashes out just before door closes.
Man grabs Lupin and Puck, opens door with his teeth, tosses Lupin and Puck in, tries to grab Goldie as she rushes out, trips over his own feet. Lupin and Puck jump over him and run out.
Elvis jumps to top of cursed secretarial (crack) and unsheathes claws…
I suppose it’s good strategic thinking to go looking for Beatrix without trying to hold four other cats, at least one of which (we all know who) was likely to become a problem. Glad Burt got a feed on her, the moment of truth approaches!
I really like the way Georgia makes the video broadcast from Bea’s phone look different than the other perspectives. Millions of years ago, we had analog tv broadcasts that had those lines, especially visible if you took a picture of a picture. The subtle detail of this strip continues to amaze me.
Georgia has been posting Tarot card featuring the BCN cats! They’ve been perfect choices so far.
If you’re not on the various social media platforms, so far she’s posted:The Fool (Tommy)The Magician (Sophie as The Unknown)The High Priestess (Tabitha)
I have guesses for some of the upcoming ones, but I don’t want to spoil things for others.
GoComics put together a list of pumpkin related comic strips which included this tribute to Robin that I had forgotten about, https://www.gocomics.com/breaking-cat-news/2020/10/07
I’m surprised no one has mentioned the texture in the first and last panels. They seem to be printed on some sort of fabric, maybe a canvas, while the middle two are normal. Did Georgia do a painting of part of the plot, and paste it in? Most curious!
All hail to the magnificent one. I offer a piece of carpet from Le Roi de Ronron. It is the purrfect depth to paddle and knead, but also thin enough for claws to rip into, it’s also great for puking on, according to the experts. <3

Stop waxing poetical and find out what it is!
But, uh, you know, be careful while you’re finding it, too.

Not the time to get poetic, Beatrix. Doom approaches.

Beatrix always carries her phone with her, so unless it loses power (like when she was stuck in that tree), she’ll always be safe.♥

Sorry, but it sounded like describing wine, not a sound.

They were sleeping in their beds, late one night
When their ears all got an eerie fright
Then the kitten who was grabbed, began to rise
And suddenly to their surprise
She ran a dash
(A monster dash) It was a daring dash
(She did a dash) She was gone in a flash
(She ran a dash) She ran a monster dash
From the purple room in the big pink home
The brave little kitten reports all alone
Grown cats all call from a locked bedroom
To get some snacks to ease their gloom
Bea ran a dash
(A monster dash) Toward an epic clash?
(She did a dash) She was gone in a flash
(She ran a dash) She can be somewhat rash
Careful Bea, you impetuous young kit
(Wa hoo, monster dash)

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Beatrixia: Today I’m going to start on the classic kitten’s literature scrolls. There’s a treasure trove of them.
Elvis-Anum: Oh, here’s one of my favorites: Headgear for Sale.
Puckmosis: I love the part where the monkeys take all the headgear. Then they imitate the Meese poofing out.
Bea: I thought I heard something.
Elvis: Over there by the litter room on the right.
Puckmosis: Sue Chef, what are you doing here?
Sue Chef: I’ve come to set up the catfé here.
Elvis: Will you have your famous Lupinium coffee?
Sue: Yes. We’re very careful about that.
Puckmosis: By the way, where is Lupinium?
Enter Lupinium
Lupinium: Hey guys, I think there’s something over in the lounge!
