I couldn’t sleep and after an hour of trying I got up at 4 instead of 6, turns out it was 3 and now I’ve been awake since 2. Extra hour of sleep MY FOOT!
Mr. Johnson once again waxes poetic, proving once again he is the Master of his domain. His ten verses in five panels do not conform to the form necessary for a Japanese haiku or tanka verses but are none the less enjoyable. Have to love “An hour redux.”
Weird thing this morning, I woke up for the third time at 4:29 am even though the clock had automatically set back. 4:30 is my normal get out of bed and feed Harvey time.
Last night I looked up and the clock said 8:10PM. I thought it was later. I looked at another clock, 9:10PM. My atomic clock set itself back way before 2AM. I only have 3 clocks to manually set. One is a grandfather’s, then a school clock and one digital that doesn’t have DST setting.
What’s wrong with leaving the clocks on standard time, and when we’d normally go to daylight savings time, everyone just goes to work or school an hour earlier. It would actually be the same thing.
Twice a year people complain but honestly, very few of us sleep regularly. Many of us sleep far too few hours Mon thru Thurs. Then we go to bed even later Fri with the idea that we can sleep in Saturday. So shifting an hour one way or the other is nothing new for our bodies.

For the second time, I was awake and working during the time change. The clocks automatically changed back to one, but we didn’t get another 1:30 break.
Me, I’m more concerned that Arlo doesn’t know the perfect tense of fall or that redux doesn’t rhyme with woo. If closcks are goig to be changed or set to one time, one or both the equinoxes should be the relevant time/s to make the determination.

I change all my clocks every change but I still have one that is only right twice a day. Reminds me of the song “Twelve Thirty”.
