Hard to figure out these days, who is the lesser of two evils, when it comes to voting. I remember what Bill Clintons campaign slogan was: It’s the economy stupid! Still true?

I’ll go with what my parents always taught me. You want to live like a Republican then you better vote Democratic.

What’s worse is that there will be a lunar eclipse that night, and the nutjobs backing the losers will likely blame it on the loss.

Attacking the other party is the purpose of partisan politics. It’s almost never to help the country or the people.

A very simple way to decide. Ask yourself, “Am I better off now than 2 years ago”?The democrats control both the house and the senate. What have you seen with your own eyes? Highest gas prices ever. Worst inflation in 40 years. Worst stock market performance in 70 years. Crime surging in democrat run cities. 5 million illegals coming across the southern border. All of these events are because of Biden policies. Don’t kid yourself. If you want America to slip further into a Banana republic where the Dept of Justice looks the other way at democrat crimes but arrests parents at school board meetings vote for the democrat, but if you want something better for you and your family, vote Republican.

Staying home and not voting is actually casting a vote for the WORST candidate. Get out and vote! For me, I will be voting straight Democratic ticket the whole ballot. First time I have ever voted completely blue, but I have to do what is best for the country.

There is a fundamental principle of democracy, you get the government you deserve. If a majority of people prefer to believe in convenient lies, then their children will have to clean up the mess.

Pam’s hesitation is understandable, although badly mistaken. We have a political system focused on winning and losing, rather than governing in the best interests of the people. The Republicans have figured out that they can make Democrats lose by lying to the people, spreading conspiracy theories and misinformation, and twisting reality so that good things are made bad and bad things, well, justifiable. They sow chaos and promote violence and disavow any responsibility for it. They are worse than anarchists, because they want to destroy government but undermine personal accountability.

I should be clear—I mean the Republican Party and its leadership. Many people who vote for Republicans are good, decent people who sincerely want what’s best for themselves and for the country. Unfortunately, they have been deceived.

My father used to write in Fidel Castro whenever he considered both candidates unacceptable.

I still favor the idea of being able to vote NOT THIS ONE for any, all, or no candidates. Any not receiving less than 50 percent rejection would be considered acceptable. Any registered voter not voting would be counted as a vote not selecting any but also saying any on the slate would be considered acceptable. Any receiving more than 50 percent rejection would be rejected even if they received the plurality of votes actually cast.

Just remember, not voting would count as a vote of acceptance even as it is today. Nowadays folks claim to have not voted because none were any good OR because all are equally good — or bad. This would spell out which is intended.

Bothsidesism. It is a weak form of thinking. Only one major political party has as its core agenda the overthrow of our representative democracy.
