Dangerous extremist right wing ultra-nationalist authoritarians. Sometimes I wonder, just what is their agenda? /s

Morality police are just fine for Republicans who want the USA to be the Christian Iran.

It’s said to think that some people’s biggest concern that will have them voting GOP is their “Pain at the Pump!” (I so hate that phase.)

That’s what happens when you vote for republicans who want to take away your rights so they can rule over you with a fascist religious dictatorship.

Considering the future, I just ordered plans for a stove that burns books .. Should be a good fuel supply, when the Nazis come back to power.

Nothing like relaxing with Thomas Mann’s ‘’Magic Mountain’’ . Warms a panda up.

It all started with Reagan…and was my first election where I voted for an independent for president instead of a Republican. By the late ‘90s the GOP had tilted so far to the right I was voting almost all Democrat. Today, the GOP is so extreme by all measures it’s impossible to claim to be both a Republican and an American.

The GOP has always been a fascist party. The only freedom they care about is the freedom for corporations to do whatever they want.

My favorite – the Pregnancy Police. I’ve often been curious why so many men put so much energy into ending abortion, even with no exceptions whatsoever . I think I now know; “TO SERVE AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF SPERM” ;-)

Groucho Marx seemed prescient about the GQP: “Those are my principles. If you don’t like them I have others.”

As with all things Яepublican, it’s a one-way street. When they talk about freedom they mean THEIR freedom- not yours. When they talk about getting the government off peoples’ backs, that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be able to use the government to control others. As Twain once pointed out, Christians think Christianity is a great way for other people to live their lives, but they, of course, are above that.

There is a cemetery near me that has markers dated as far back as the 1860’s. There is a section in that cemetery for young women buried next to stillborn children. A section, a row of graves. This is the state of being the conservatives want to return to. And for one of the driving forces behind this type of regression you could google “catholic hospitals refuse treatment”.

Republicans ARE the Anti-Freedom Party. They will wave the flag and scream about gas prices (which they helped jack up), and then when in office, they will take away your rights, your Social Security, your Medicare … We’ve seen it all before.
