If you wait long enough, the land will come back. You just need a boat.

I get the joke, but what is Noah, Jr. going to do with the proceeds of his sales after the world is destroyed? Shows you can have insider information and still not have any foresight.

It’s all in the form of the con. But, the potential customer might find that splatter to be something other than water. A not so clear warning.

The Bible says that God told Noah, “… you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.” Noah’s three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth are mentioned but not Noah Junior. (Noah Junior apparently paid quite a price for this little business venture.)

Maybe the kid is not as smart as his old man, but he’s sharp. Let others do the work and he will sit on his but and sell stuff he doesn’t have to people who will never get to use it. Might as well buy stock in Bitcoin.

The formula for volume of a sphere is 4/3 π r³. Mean radius of the Earth is 6,371 km, so its volume is 1,083.2 billion km³. A sphere of 6,380 km radius has a volume of 1,087.8 billion km³, for a difference of 4.6 billion km³. What’s the significance? That’s the volume of water necessary to raise Earth’s sea level from its present value up an addition 9 km to be able to cover the entire world, including Mount Everest. The total volume of all the world’s oceans is 1.335 billion km³.

What are the implications for the Noah’s Ark legend?
