Abridged too far.

TLDR

A short story is a story under 7,500 words, a novelette is between 7,500 and 20,000 words, a novella is between 20,000 and 50.000 words, any story more than 50,000 words is considered a novel. I think publishers decided to establish the lenght of a story for legal reasons.

The LongStory Short comic is gone.

Hmmm, I thought the “long story short” was just go see the movie.

I dislike abridged editions. The whole book or nothing!

When someone says, “To make a long story short…”, it’s too late.

I always was a bottom line person!

All the readers digest books no one wants any more.

I really liked Dickens’s “Diminished Expectations”

“And So On and So Forth” by Ed Nauseum.

All the books were written by author Clifford Monarch.

I wonder if the “Long Story Short” section offers anything on how a watch is made ….

Shouldn’t all those books be a lot thinner?

It seems when someone says ‘Long Story Short’ it rarely is. If ever. I tend to be mentally sound asleep before the end.
