Partly explains why every human culture has invented some sort of fermented beer-like beverage. It’s cleaner than plain water.

A can of beer can have up to 25 squashed maggots go into it’s production. They add to the richness of the flavor in the fermentation process and they greatly increase the head of foam that you get.

That’s good to know. I’ll start reading the labels more closely.

It’s a good thing that we don’t know what is in most of our food and drink.

A little extra protein.

Here’s a tidbit: people who make revolting comment about food/drinks while I’m enjoying either, tend to end up with a fat lip.

After working in several food processing plants, I learned about allowable amounts of rodent hairs, insect parts, and mold. I figure it’s all protein.

What’s the allowable amount of agave worms in a bottle of tequila?

Well, all the crap that’s in hotdogs and cereal and juice hasn’t killed me in 62 years so I’m not too worried about what’s actually in my food.
