Now I’ll have to have a chicken fried steak today with gravy for lunch today.

Not to worry, just re-gift it Monty.

In her later years my Mum was a compulsive shopper and she ended up with MANY returns. One time I took her to the local Walmart with her bags of returns which were all in K-Mart bags. She had no problem getting her money back though.

Is that the Gravy Maker that Emeril sells on TV? Always wanted one.

Well, that was really unlucky and awkward.

hard to return it to Sears since they are out of business, they were the best on returns use if for years and get something in return

The hat must be very old. Sadly, Sears passed away years ago.

Things have taken a turn for the worse as Monty is forced to go hat in hand.

Sears is still around, but barely. There’s less than two dozen still open. I live not far from the last one in my state and it’s scheduled to close on January 15.

What exactly is a gravy maker? The pic on the box looks like a tea kettle. The only thing you need to make gravy is a pan and a whisk.

And where might the nearest Sears store be…in 2022?

Ahh Sear Roebucks, when I was a little panda, i’d go with Dad to Sears. Check out all the hand tools, power tools. For a while our store had outboards on display and aluminum boats outside in a fenced area. Ahh, the sweet memories of youth. Sears, destroyed by greedy idiots. may they all burn in Hell.

Aunt Edna, I can see the family resemblance!
