What you MIGHT be selling is value added if you have neat handwriting.

35 years ago, around this time of the year, my friends would come to me with names and relationships and I would write couplets or quatrains for them to send on to their “loved ones”! They would take it to another friend (actually a school dropout) for him to write it into blank greeting cards…

… for free!

What you’re after is the money “area”: the width is the size of take and the length is the number of times you do it… and the “area” is the product of the two. P.T. Barnum went for the narrow but VERY LONG “area.” Usually a good choice. But if you can make just one REALLY BIG scam, you come out better with a very wide but short “area.”

This is the truest (and thus, the funniest) Frazz strip I’ve seen in a long time.

P.T. Barnum would be impressed by a certain orange con man selling un-original (ripped off) photoshopped digital NFTs for 99 bucks a pop.

Have them put the list on a Google sheet, and you would Excel at that!

A friend told me she keeps all Xmas cards and displays them every year. Visitors are amazed how many friends she has.

And that’s why politicians get rich.

Barnum never said “There’s a sucker born every minute.” Nor would he. He believed he was selling entertainment, and considered that a very noble thing.

Caulfield also is stating the mantra for most pols and gurus who hustle various and sundry schemes.

Barnum taught it; the GOP perfected it. Both involve clowns.

I read that the new writing AI writes papers better than most high school students and quite a few college students. It would be perfect for this kind of not-quite-a-form-letter writing.

And thus the Walton family are all multibillionaires……….
