Been there, done that.

My daughter is a professional photographer, and she went through a phase of collecting old cameras. Hopefully it’s over.

I can relate as well. I’ve been collecting LPs/45s/78s for over 40 years.

I just collect bills.

Just a collection. Not a serious collection.

Mmkay, for the sake of your budget, might be time to set down some ground rules for this…

“Collecting” is just socially accepted hoarding.

My husband and I agreed never to be obsessed by the same thing at the same time, so there would always be someone to say, “You want to spend how much on what?”

Only fair, what do her Amazon “collections” look like?

Time for a budget that includes personal spending money (aka, an allowance) for each of them. Then he can spend his money on whatever he wants without a fight.
